This modern house which is furnished throughout to a high standard is part of a small complex of only 8 houses, located in the stylish resort of Cala D'Or.
 
It has a light and airy atmosphere having good sized rooms with patio doors opening out from the lounge onto the large  private terrace which is ideal for al-fresco dining and sunbathing whilst overlooking the good sized communal swimming pool and landscaped gardens.
 
The house is only a short stroll to the centre of Cala Egos where there is a large selection of restaurants, bars, shops, childrens activity area. The beaches of Cala Egos and Cala des Pou and the spectacular marina of Cala D'Or which has numerous restaurants are only a few minutes walk away. The house has a private drive providing off road parking.

The chic resort of Cala D'Or lies on the South East coast of Mallorca approximately 40-45 mins from the large modern airport of Palma.
 
Cala D'Or is a purpose built resort originating from a small fishing village and yet still retains a quiet relaxing atmosphere. The resort now extends over approximately 4km of seven small pine fringed sandy coves but still has the feeling of a small village due to the carefully managed building controls which include a limit on building height.
 
Cala D'Or is within walking distance of the house  passing the spectacular marina. Although you do not require a car in the resort, a car would enable you to explore the island and take in it's history and architecture whilst enjoying the breathtaking views.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The property is privately owned and a security deposit of £200 is required. This security deposit is required to reimburse the property owner in case of breakages, loss or damage to furnishings, bedding, keys or the property due to neglect, such as leaving the property in an insecure manner. The security deposit will be returned to the Client within 14 days of the last day of the holiday providing the property management company provides a clear inspection and the key has been returned. Clients will not be charged for what is considered minor wear and tear.
  • A charge of 90 euros is payable locally on arrival for cleaning and laundry.
  • A travel cot  is available at an extra charge.  Clients will need to provide their own bedding for this cot. 
  • A high chair can also provided at an extra charge.
  • A steam iron, ironing board and clothes airer/dryer are also provided.

    The master and second bedrooms are located on the first floor, each has en-suite facilities.
    The master bedroom has king sized bed, a private roof terrace which also provides access to the main roof terrace. The master bedroom en-suite has a shower, bath, WC, bidet, twin washbasins.
    The second bedroom has a small balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. The second bedroom en-suite has a shower, WC and washbasin.
    The third twin bedroom is located on the ground floor with the third bathroom, which is equipped with a shower, bath, WC and washbasin.
    All bedrooms and the lounge have views overlooking the gardens and pool area.
    The remaining ground floor accommodation consists of a fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops, dining room and a large living room.

    A large table,  chairs, sunbeds & BBQ are provided on the terraces. A Wooden Gazebo is located in the garden providing a shaded area with seating and a table for al fresco dining.

    Additional Information on Cala Egos:
     
    Information on airport transfers to the house and car hire either from the airport or the resort can be provided on request.
    Within a 5 minute stroll there are 3 supermarkets, a bank with cash points, public telephone, numerous small bars and restaurants, children's play area (which includes go-carting, mini-golf trampolining etc), car hire, taxi rank, bus stop and novelty tourist train into Cala d'Or town centre (some of these are seasonal) and cylce hire shops.
    There are also several booking agents for arranging excursions to nature parks,glass bottomed boats, dolphinarium and water parks etc.
    There is a regular air conditioned bus service to Palma and most other major towns on Mallorca with the bus stop only a 2 to 3 minute stroll from the house. There is also a Doctor and Pharmacy for any minor medical problems.

    Sports Enthusiasts: For the sports enthusiast, floodlit tennis courts at the Cala d'Or Tennis Club are located only a 3 to 5 minute stroll away. Scuba diving can be arranged at several locations in Cala d'Or or in the adjacent small coastal village of Porto Petro. Porto Petro is a delightful village with it's own small marina and selection of restaurants, it is only a 20 to 30 minute stroll or 5 minute car ride from the house.

    Golf: With warm weather all year round, the best time for golfers to visit this glorious island is outside the main holiday season when the summer holiday crowds have diminished. There are 7 golf courses within a 10 to 55 minute journey by car and all offer the hire of golf clubs and trolleys etc. All require handicap certificates and some of the more challenging courses apply handicap limits. Soft spikes are required at all courses and booking tee times is recommended, particularly during peak season periods.
