garden apartment with quality furnishings and fittings including
Satalite TV DVD and CD music system. This holiday home is on a private
complex with a pool overlooking the sea. Set between two beautiful
coves, Cala Ferrera and Cala Esmerelda, with crystal clear waters. It's
a pretty area with plenty of shops, bars, & restaurants.
Ferrera Park is situated on a headland overlooking the sea, there are two beaches within easy walking distance. The complex has beautiful gardens shaded by pine trees .
Relax in the garden watching the boats sail by
(Sunloungers provided). Winter breaks are available although a car would be
needed to visit the many places as the area is very quiet out of season. You can enjoy quiet beaches, lovely scenery and the lovely
vall d'or golf course is just a short drive. Valldermosa and Soller are
wonderful days out. Relax by the log fire on a chilly evening watching
your favourite programs.
Cala D'Or is approximately one hours drive from Palma Airport, where you can hire a car or take one of the available taxis which wait outside to take you to your destination.
Cala
Ferrera - The coves have crystal clear water and
soft sand that gently slopes into the sea, the excellent beach bars have
friendly staff. Cala Ferrera has many restaurants bars and
shops, Cala D'Or is only a five minute walk away where are pedestrian streets full of restaurants serving a wide choice of food.
The Marina boasts expensive yachts and motor boats and provides a pleasent
place to sit, have a drink or a meal.
Cala Dor was originally a small Majorcan fishing village. It's retained its charm (no high rise
buildings) and boasts several sandy coves.
There are
many local markets and whether you choose to stay by the pool or
explore the island, Cala Ferrera is an ideal base. Many people return
year after year.

Weather: Between May and October it's mostly sunny with
very little rain. In july and august it can be very hot even on a night. In the winter months you can get lovely days but a bit cooler on a
night.

little coves or charter a larger boat cruising the beautiful waters of

The Vall d'or Golf course is close by and offers superb golfing. It is
one of the most welcoming clubs in mallorca surrounded by olive and

Boat Charter is a fantastic opportunity to explore the coastal waters
of Mallorca. You have the option to charter motor boats or sailing
yachts, with or without crew
depending on your sailing ability and experience.
There are numerous glass bottomed boats that leave throughout the day
from the coves that make up Cala D´Or. You’ll
see colorful coral, exotic tropical fish, and hundreds of varieties of
marine life, without even getting wet! The whole family can enjoy this
fascinating and educational adventure.
The Caves of Drach is a must visit site
The caves contain Lake Martel, supposed to be the largest known
underground lake in the world. The caves are open
to the public all year round. Located outside Porto Cristo, on the South-west coast, there are coach
trips available or you can reach the caves by Hire car.
Rental Notes:
£150 a week refundable bond must be paid with the final balance. (monies returned after inspection of the property).
Non refundable final balance payment must be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. A 30 euro charge towards towards cleaning costs and 15 euro meet and greet charge is payable locally on arrival
The property can be rented all year and can provide an ideal base for
touring the island. Much of Cala D'or closes at the
beginning of November, but it can be lovely for those that want a quiet
retreat in pleasent weather with beautiful surroundings. The beaches
will be quiet but the days can be warm and evenings somewhat cooler.
